Draft for review. This wording has not been checked by a solicitor and must be reviewed by the owner and a legal adviser before it is relied on. It is not a statement that the site is legally compliant.
Sixth Tackle links to stories, videos and podcasts published by other people. If you own something that appears here, or act for someone who does, and you object to how it is shown, tell us here.
What happens next. You get a reference straight away. We aim to acknowledge within two working days. While we look into it we can hide the listing, and every step is recorded. If we decide the listing should stay, we will tell you why. This process is for raising concerns: it does not replace permission, and we do not treat the absence of a complaint as permission to use anyone's work.
How we handle requests
- Each request is logged with its date, the listing concerned, and every action we take.
- We can hide a listing while we look into it, remove it, or reinstate it, and we can stop showing a source entirely.
- We keep a record of requests and their outcome for six years after they are closed.
- Your details are used only to handle the request and to contact you about it. See the privacy notice.
