Terms of use
Draft · last updated 17 October 2026
Draft for review. This wording has not been checked by a solicitor and must be reviewed by the owner and a legal adviser before it is relied on. It is not a statement that the site is legally compliant.
These terms cover your use of Sixth Tackle. By using the app you agree to them. They are written to be read, so here they are in plain English.
1. Who we are
Sixth Tackle (sixth-tackle.vercel.app), is run by Brad Clarke in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: brad@sixthtackle.co.uk.
2. What Sixth Tackle is
Sixth Tackle gathers rugby league news, videos and podcasts from clubs, leagues, governing bodies and media, and sends you to the people who published them. For each story we show the publisher's name, when it was published and a link to the original. Depending on what we have recorded for that source we may also show its headline, a short description and its picture; where we have not established that, we show a plain link to the story instead. We do not copy whole articles.
- The stories, videos and podcasts belong to their publishers. We do not host them, and their own terms apply when you visit their sites.
- Videos open on YouTube. The Watch section uses YouTube API Services, and by using Sixth Tackle you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. See our privacy notice and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Club crests and competition names belong to their owners and are shown only with permission or to identify the club or competition.
- Some publishers pay for extra prominence. Wherever that happens, the story is labelled Promoted. Payment never changes Top Stories, Trending, For You, search results or the answers from Ask, and never changes what a publisher's story says.
- We cannot vouch for what third parties publish. If something we link to is wrong or offensive, tell us and we will review the link.
- Fixtures, results, tables, team lists, team news and disciplinary information are for general information only. We do not show live scores: results are added by us after full time from the source named alongside them. They can be incomplete or out of date, so check the official source.
- Where to watch and listen lists broadcasters as the broadcasters or organisers have published them. Channels, coverage and times can change and may depend on where you are and what you subscribe to, so check your local listings.
- Match highlights link to the video on YouTube, posted by the channel named. We do not host or edit them.
- Tickets. Some fixtures have a Buy tickets button. It opens the ticket seller's own website. Tickets are sold by that seller, not by Sixth Tackle: prices, availability, payment, delivery, refunds and any problems with the event are between you and the seller, under their terms. We may earn a commission from some ticket links; where we do, we say so next to the button. Ticket links never change how stories are ranked.
- If you own content that appears on Sixth Tackle and object to how it is shown, use our copyright and content removal form. We can hide a listing quickly while we look into it.
3. Your account
- You can browse without an account. An account is free and lets you follow clubs and shows and use Ask.
- You must be 13 or over to create one, and the details you give must be accurate.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
4. Ask (the AI assistant)
- Ask answers questions using stories and data on Sixth Tackle. The answers are written by AI and can be wrong or out of date. Always check the linked sources.
- Ask is for general information about rugby league. It is not betting, financial, medical or legal advice.
- There is a daily limit on questions. Do not try to get around it, automate it or use it to pull data out of the app in bulk.
5. Notifications
Notifications are optional and go only to the phone or browser where you switch them on. You choose what to hear about (for example transfer news and official news, or team news, signings, discipline and highlights for the clubs and competitions you follow) and can switch them off, pause them or set quiet hours on the Alerts page at any time, or in your browser or phone settings. We limit how many are sent each day. Tapping a notification opens the publisher's own page.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- scrape, copy or republish the app or its data in bulk, or use it to build a competing service;
- try to break, overload or get around the app's security or limits;
- use the app for anything unlawful, or to harass or impersonate anyone.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. Our content
The Sixth Tackle name, design and code, and our own summaries and tags, belong to us. You may share links to Sixth Tackle freely.
8. Availability and changes
Sixth Tackle is provided free and as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available, complete or error-free. Sources can change or stop their feeds, and features may change, be added or be removed.
9. Liability
We are not responsible for content published by third parties, or for losses that arise from relying on headlines, descriptions or AI answers without checking the original source. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell signed-in members in the app first. If you keep using Sixth Tackle after a change, the new terms apply.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
